Surinam is a Maine Coon of the "old type" from Russia. He is our sweet loner. He likes to bask in the sun and occasionally play with his peers. He appreciates tranquility and being petted on his own terms.
We adopted Surinam when he was nine months old because his previous owner traveled frequently, leaving him alone often. Surinam enjoys community life more and more each day, and his integration into the cattery went smoothly.
